Whether you’re picking up a hockey stick for the first time, returning to the game, or looking for a new club, new members are always welcome at Gawler Hockey Club. We’re a community-focused club with opportunities for players of all ages and abilities, from our youngest juniors through to senior hockey.

Where We Play

Gawler Hockey Club competes in the Barossa Valley Hockey Association (BVHA), with grass and artificial turf competitions played across Gawler, Stockwell Park, Stockwell and the Clare Valley.

Our home ground is Trinity College Turf, located off Greenslade Road or Alexander Avenue, Evanston South.

Training

U8/U10/U12 (mixed): Wednesdays, 5:00–6:00pm
U14/15 & U16/17 (mixed): Wednesdays, 6:00–7:00pm

Junior games: Saturday mornings

Senior matches are played on Friday nights (minimal games), Saturdays and Sundays after 12:30pm.

Season commences: April 2026
